Stranded

I'm stranded on a ship
in the middle of a storm
for a very long time

the sea calms down sometimes
making me think its over
that He'll come walking on water

but it's only a short time before the storm comes back more fiercely
my SOS calls aren't answered
fighting to keep the ship afloat weakened my bones
and the cold nights weakened my soul

Once again the sea calms down
and i wait for Him to come
but He doesn't

It's only a small break before the storm is back again
My ship is half sinking but it doesn't sink
Water and salt has filled my lungs
I'm tortured, but i don't die
I pray for death or the storm to be over
but nothing changes
