امتعة كثيرة
ها انا ارتب حقائبى للعودة
اشياء كثيرة جائت معى مسافرة مسافات طويلة، و ها هى تعود مرة اخرى
جئت لاطأ طريقا جديدة، و لكننى احضرت معى كل احذيتى
جئت لاتعلم رقصة حياة جديدة، و لكننى احضرت معى كل تنورات رقصاتى
احضرت اعز كتبى معى، قرأتها كلها مرة اخرى، قبل ان احاول قراءة كتابا جديدا فى ثقافة لا اعرفها
و كاننى بدون وجودها معى لا اكون، بدونها لا استعد لمواجهة حياة جديدة
اضحك فى نفسى: و لماذا المواجهة اصلا؟ هل انا فى حرب؟ او ربما فى حرب مع نفسى
جئت بصور اقاربى
بهدايا قديمة من اصدقائى
بصورة رسمها لى والدى
جئت و لكننى تركت قلبى و عقلى هناك
و ها انا اعود بامتعة كثيرة، اسألها: هل ستذهبين معى اينما رحلت
ام حقا استطيع ان اقول ان امتعتى هى التى تذهب و تجىء و ابقى انا مكانى
او اتحرك قليلا بالقدر الذى تحررت به منها

My dear lady. The Egyptians are very unique is this. Wherever we go the heart and mind are back there. I have been here in USA for more than 10 years yet still can not start my day without reading al Ahram online and chat with some Egyptians thorugh the Yahoo messenger. The big advantage of the messenger is that you can speak and see the one you chat with using the webcam and the mic. You feel that you are almost together in one place. Use it with your family it will make the travel more tolerable

Thanks for your sharing.. yes we, all Egyptians have many things in common, they appear clearly when we are outside Egypt :)
